When your request seems to be overlooked.
Mark 5:35 While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?
Jairus had a great request, yet it seems that others needs were more important. If we are not careful bitterness can creep in and fill our mind with the question does Jesus care? Jesus was just as interested in the need of Jairus daughter as he was with the woman with the issue of blood. Just because you see the Lord working in someone else’s life does not mean that He has forgot about your request. Notice nowhere do you see Jairus walking away, even though it seem that it was to late. He was willing to stay with Jesus until he got the help he was looking for.
