Head Weight

Head weight.

Psalm 3:3 But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

We all have had a time where we walked around with our head hung down. The psalmist in the previous verses no doubt had his head down, but he was not willing to stay in this condition. How long will we stay looking at the ground?
David was fleeing at this moment from his son, so this weight not only caused his head to hang but no doubt his heart to ache. We may face trials in order to see them through, there must be a time that it’s only God can help us. So no matter the circumstances the Lord can help you to lift up your head. Determine just as the David did in, Psalm 121:1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
