The marks of becoming a burden to yourself.
Job 7:20 I have sinned; what shall I do unto thee, O thou preserver of men? why hast thou set me as a mark against thee, so that I am a burden to myself?
No doubt the pain of the test that Job was going through was greatly upon him. We all have questions during times of trials. At this point Job felt as if he was nothing but a burden to others and had become a greater burden to himself. It is easy to say what Job should of done, or what we would of done, but it’s a different thing when we are in this situation.
1. When pressures from without create a greater pressure within. (After hearing something for so long you will end up believing it.)
2. When words not only point to the heart but pierce the heart.( Jobs 3 friends didn’t have much encouragement to give)
3. When actions of others create a wrong attitude within.
